| Legal Executive Responsibilities: • Review, draft and negotiate corporate, commercial and technical agreements. • Reviewing/vetting and/or drafting agreements/contracts in respect of projects undertaken by company. • Provision legal support to the business units, which will include advising on all pre-contract and post contract issues and the provision of commercial solutions. • Coordinate with external lawyers in all legal matters including documentation, litigation, dispute resolution etc. • Participate and advice on all business dealings of the Selat Melaka such as corporate restructuring, merger and acquisitions, formation of business venture and joint ventures. • Management and administration of Selat Melaka legal database. • Liaise with government bodies on regulatory, licensing, compliance and policy matters. • Keep management abreast of latest development of relevant laws or regulations, and advice on compliance requirement. In line with our expansion plans in Malaysia, we will like to invite suitable candidates to join us as: Responsibilities: • To submit partial shipment application to the Customs on time so that approvals are given prior to the arrival of the imported materials / equipment. • To coordinate the customs clearance and delivery of all imported materials/equipment at various ports (both sea and air) in Malaysia to job sites and /or the Store on a timely basis, to avoid the company from incurring demurrage, storage and other late penalty charges. • To co-ordinate all shipping activities with forwarding agencies, transport companies as applicable. • To arrange crane/fork lift for equipment delivery at various job sites as per Construction Department’s requirements/dates. • To coordinate with our vendors/suppliers regarding delivery of materials ordered. • To monitor and ensure orders are delivered on time and to the right place/location. • To arrange for the shipping and delivery of materials sourced from KL to outstation areas either by road or sea. • Maintain good rapport with the Customs and other related authorities. • To assist in sourcing and procurement of materials and services for the company Requirements: • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistic/Supply Chain or with relevant working experience. • Sound knowledge of Customs regulations, statutory requirement and shipping procedures. • Meticulous, proactive and good sense of urgency. • Good communication skills – both oral and written. • Planning, coordination and organizing skills. • Preferably those who also have exposure in purchasing functions. • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field ________________________________________ Human Resource Department Otis Elevator Company (M) Sdn.
